Equality Alabama is a statewide human rights organization working on behalf of Alabama’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender citizens.

Through education and advocacy, Equality Alabama strives to create a state of equal rights in Alabama and to ensure that no one faces discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity. Our work is wide ranging, but frequently falls into several Issue Areas:
