VOLUNTEER

Volunteers Needed!! If you have one or 100 hours a month to volunteer to the effort, this is your opportunity to work, network and lend a hand to reaching the goal: Join the fun as we assemble to plan and execute events designed to continue the mission and vision of the organization toward seeking full inclusion of Alabama’s LGBT community.

Equality Alabama needs your help. If you have experience or are willing to assist, we need volunteers for the following positions:

Membership/Fund Raising Committee members:
Responsibilities include developing program outlines for grant applications, identifying & taking advantage of grant opportunities, promoting membership and increasing EA visibility. Volunteer for the Membership committee.

Website/Communications Committee members:
Responsibilities include developing content for the website, newsletters and mass mailings. Volunteer for the Communications committee.

Events Committee members:
Responsibilities include organizing and managing various EA events.

Coordinators are needed for an EA presence next Spring at various Pride events throughout the state. Volunteer for the Events committee.
